Reports to: Administrative Officer

Uganda National Cultural Centre (UNCC) is a semi-autonomous body established by an Act of Parliament (UNCC Act Cap 50). It is mandated to preserve, promote and popularize Art and Culture in Uganda and beyond.

Job Summary: The incumbent will drive Institutional cars and take good care of them.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle he drives.
• Ensures basic maintenance of the vehicles in his possession
• The incumbent drives the Institutional vehicles and ensures they are in good working condition.
• Carry out minor repairs of vehicles assigned.
• Provides courier services
• Performs any other duties assigned by the management.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The Driver must hold a Uganda Certificate of Education and Valid and clean driving license with class B, DL, CM and DM
• Certificate in automobile mechanics.
• A minimum of three (3) years of driving experience in a reputable organization with a clean record.
• Defensive driving skills.
